UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE - - MY ARTWORK HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN A LONG TIME AND THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION - - MANY OF THESE IMAGES ARE OLD!!! I PROMISE I'M GETTING TO IT!!!
A Little about the Artist
I am a Fine Art Prophetic Artist. Primarily working with textured mediums, acrylics on both canvas and wood. I also love working with vibrant watercolors. I’m driven by my faith and love of life and the hope that each painting encompasses. Many clients have shared that the artwork "SPEAKS to ME". Often what my clients are sensing is the very same prayers that God had directed me to pour into the artwork.
I feel such a great sense of JOY with every mark of my pallet knife or stroke of the brush. I’ve been honored for my art to be in the pages of publications and magazines. I have also been honored to have my pieces in galleries and personal collections throughout the world: Canada, Israel, Iraq, Kurdistan, Armenia, Germany, Mexico, Japan, Belgium, Australia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Finland!
Yet one thing remains CONSTANT - I’m most touched by those who spend their hard-earned money on something I have created.
I pray and worship as I paint, in fact, this is the only time I do art. Each stroke of my pallet knife a prayer and Holy Scripture is released into the painting. There are even times that I do not paint but just lay my hands on the canvas and pray over it seeking God on the behalf of the owner of the artwork.
A great sense of peace, love and the Spirit of Christ flows thru each painting regardless of its theme.
In the beginning God created – and we, are created in HIS IMAGE …
Created to Creat
"Artists are the life-givers in culture. We are a pivotal intersection point where the Kingdom of Heaven meets culture. It is there that we have the unique opportunity, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to translate the Kingdom of Heaven into a language that bypasses words and goes directly into the human spirit. When we collaborate with the Holy Spirit in this dance of Kingdom creativity, His power, His Life and His Light merge with our faith, creative thoughts, imaginations, desires and skill into art that carries the literal presence and power of God. It is in this context that our art, no matter the creative medium becomes prophetic." - Matt Tommey
